AdSense account suspended by Google? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one, most of us have been there but are still breathing strong. If your account has been suspended, check out our in-depth guide: Banned from Google AdSense, what’s next?. So, you’re probably wondering how to get your AdSense account back. Now, if you’ve decided that you don’t want to consider any alternatives, you can always appeal in an attempt to get your account back. The thing is, most people don’t know how to appeal properly — what you say in the appeal will determine whether or not Google gives you another opportunity to work with their program.
No, I don’t need to know whether you personally cheated Google with invalid clicks or your website violated their terms of service — you can still get your account back. The thing is though, if your website violates their terms of service, its highly unlikely they will re-instate your account because you’re not allowed to really run AdSense on there. If you clicked on your own ads to increase profits, there’s a very little chance you will get your account back. However, if you really were not responsible for the invalid clicks on your website or know the source of the clicks, you can definitely still get your account back.
Here’s how you should fill out your form for best chance of reactivation:
Have you appealed the disabling of this account in the past? *
No
If Google does not re-instate your account after the first appeal, its highly unlikely they will do it after additional appeals. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t keep trying however — you won’t know until you try.
Do you have any other active AdSense accounts?
No
No is a good answer because Google will probably end up disabling those accounts as well — so don’t make their job easy.
Who are the intended users of your site? *
General Readers
Unless its different for you, this works perfect so it lets them know that anyone and everyone views your site.
From what parts of the world do your users view your site? *
Worldwide
Don’t limit yourself to a certain location.
How are your users accessing the web? *
All locations
Unless different, that is the best answer to use.
Does your site content include content copied from other sites on the web (not including RSS feeds)? *
Definitely not.
This is the best answer you can put — definitely do NOT say you copy content from other websites because it is against Google’s terms of service.
What is the source of your site’s content? *
Multiple Cited Sources and Original Content
Above is the best answer unless it’s different for you specifically.
How often do you update your site? *
Daily
Google will like it if you update your website daily, it makes your website look more attractive to them and worth being with their program.
Have you ever purchased traffic to your site(s)? *
No
Definite no no, if you have purchased traffic to your site(s), Google will not like it, but say “Yes” if you have.
Have you ever signed up for services that give users incentives to visit your site/ads? *
No
Same reason as before — against Google terms of service.
For the questions I haven’t answered or advised you to answer here, just put an answer to the best of your knowledge because it won’t really impact whether or not AdSense decides to activate your account or not. The final two questions are what really matter and you need to be careful how you answer them:
Have you or your site ever violated the AdSense program policies or Terms & Conditions? If so, how? *
Hopefully your website has not violated the AdSense program policies or Terms & Conditions but if it has, just state yes and explain your situation to Google — make sure you apologize and let them know how badly you want your account re-instated.
Any relevant information that you believe may explain the invalid click activity we detected:
Just explain your situation to Google — remember, it is people after all that read your appeal so you can appeal to their emotions. If you accidentally clicked on your ads a few times, let Google know — if you know someone that has clicked on your ads for whatever reason, or any other information you may have to explain the invalid click activity, let Google know.
That’s about it! It’s not simple and there’s no guarantee that Google will re-instate your account — in fact, the probability of your account getting reactivated is very low if Google had to disable it in the first place. The one and only advice I can give you is: be truthful — Google knows what you do online through cookies and their “secret” algorithm so lying won’t help you out, the more truthful you are, the higher your chance of reinstatement.
